I couldn't get good swatches but they are nicely pigmented and I think they would show up more with a color base. It is not bad for a dollar. I am def. going to get more. :I also got some brushes and eyelash curler online but that would be another blog:

Wet N' Wild Vanity Icon Palette $5.00





I LOOOOOVE this palette!!! I been eyeing this for a while. I finally found it at Target! This palette is soo pigmented! THe yellow/goldish color and browns are amazing. It's a total win for me. I want get the Lust and Greed palettes too.

The Runaways



I never seen this but I love the Runaways. I hope it's good or else I promised my friend I was going to kick her ass if I didnt haha. Has anyone seen it? thoughts?

Product Rave!

SO, I found out Maybelline has a new foundation called Dream Smooth Mousse. I finally got it and I love it! I don't own any foundation so this is the first time using one. I bought the color in BUFF which I just picked at random cause I was in a hurry but lucky for me it is the right shade for me. It is very creamy and even though the packaging makes it seem like it has a lot of product (which it doesn't) a lil goes a long way. I used it for school today and it's really hot so I was sweaty all over my face (gross right?)everything stayed in place no streaking and no itchiness (which I get sometimes when I wear make up and sweat). SO, that's a total plus for me and it covered my blemishes so yay!!

A lot of gurus reviewing it say it's better for dry skin which I have. So, if you have dry skin it's more of a plus to you but either way everyone should try it!

I bought mine at Walmart for $7 something but at CVS it runs at 9 dollars so yea.

It's sooooo hot :( I HATE it...I can't wait for Winter!

CCO Haul

AH I been so busy this week with school and I have been sick since Wednesday :(. Sore throat and the runny nose thing. I had my two friends sleep over on Friday, made Tacos de carne asada and we worked on our homework till 1:30 am. The whole day I was sneezing and I lost my voice so I sounded like a boy going through puberty >:(. My friends got a laugh at it so I guess I am not a bad host after all :P.

SO, today we went to the Block of Orange and to Saks for the CCO counter.

I got M.A.C. Rose pigment and the Naked Honey Skin Salve!

I wanted this for the longest time but I didn't want to get it in those new containers :X. $13.50 is not bad :D. I was NOT a fan of pigments cause they are messy and what not but I bought Melon when I went to Primm, Nevada at that CCO and from there I decided I needed more pigments!


From this swatch you can see the golden-ish sparkles eekkk! I love it! I would use it wet though to bring the pink out.

M.A.C. Nake Honey Skin Salve


Ahhhh! I am glad I can still find this! This was an out of the blue purchase. I heard so many great things and I missed it when it came out in the Naked Honey Collection. It's multi-use but I am gonna use it on the lips since I have very dry lips. I wore this all day and my lips are nice and soft :). I can't smell it but my sister and friend said it smelled kinda weird ahah. They couldn't describe the smell but if you gals go to the CCO you might want to grab it! its awesome!

That's all I bought. It was a small CCO counter there wasn't much to pick from :/ but I am happy with my purchase :).

I also stopped at Old Navy to get 4 tank tops (gray, white, lime green, pink). 5 dollars each is not bad at all. I am a tank top and jeans girl hahha it's all I need to wear.

I just started this blog not so long ago and I am getting comments and recommendations from readers! I am very thankful. I really enjoy writing but reading as well. It is such an escape for me.

I started school today. It was a very long day... I was frustrated, hot ( I hate this hot weather), sleepy which I haven't done much lately. The first day should be a breeze right? It wasn't even stress about "school" is the ppl surrounding me. The campus being so packed, waiting long lines and disorganization of my semi-independent math class I am taking plus trying to have a nice lunch with my friend and the whole time she spent it on the phone with her dumb ass bf cause he was mad about some bullshit that didn't even make sense >:x.

Just coming here and knowing about getting the award brighten up my day :).

Super Mini Avon Haul

I got my Avon order today!

I got the Beyond Color Lip plumping conditioner SPF 15 and Mad For Mauve.

FYI-I took this picture with my Canon and it's an ok quality but I couldn't get a good swatch :X



This is my third tube of the lip conditioner..I love et! I have dry lips so this helps keep them moisturized. I don't know about plumping, it claims to have 2 times the retinol. It doesn't do any plumping on me..don't plumping products suppose to burn a lil? cause this doesn't haha.



I took this picture with my iphone you can see it's more pinkish here but anyways....

I am glad I FINALLY got it. Since lavender whip disappeared from my make up container >:!(I hope whoever stole it...is enjoying it!). This also claims the double retinol too but I dont see a difference. I don't care about that anyways ahah.

The color is a purple/mauve/lil pinkish its amazing! I tried it on and put some Kat Von D BAM lighting lipgloss on top and it's the perfect mauve color! I think it can be a 60% dupe for lavender whip.

They usually go for 8.00 dollars each but they have a sale 3.99 each! Not bad at all. I will keep buying the lip conditioner and Mad for Mauve again :)

What's your favorite make up look?

I haven't been putting on make up since it was super hot for a while and I didn't want to bother with it :X. I usually use my True love palette from Kat Von D (the neutral shimmery side) with heavy and winged eyeliner. WIth Mac Studio Fix Powder and MAC's Breezy blush. I used my Avon lipstick in POUT. It is such a pretty light pinky nude.

Do you have a beauty vice?

It's hard to pick! If I had to it would be EYELINER. I must have eyeliner on no matter what ahah.

What part of your body do you love?

My boobs :)

Who is your beauty icon?

I would say it would be the make up gurus on youtube. I look up to them for advice and techniques on beauty.

What beauty product makes you feel instantly good?

Eyeliner, eyeshadow and lipstick :).

How do you look after your skin?
With MAC's volcano exfoliate/mask. I hardly get pimples so I am not so into buying anti acne products but I do have very dry skin so I make sure I keep my face moisturized at all times.

What is your signature scent?
I still use CAN CAN from Paris Hilton if not Victoria Secret body sprays.

What is your hair care secrets?

I don't have any! :( I have thin hair and I can't do anything with it just straighten. I wish i can get thicker hair. I am really considering extensions ahha

How do you pamper yourself?

Getting my nails and eyebrows done :. Total relaxation time!

What is your beauty pet peeve?

TOO much blush!

What would your desert island must haves be?

Hmmm....Eyeliner and moisturizer

DANCING! I loooove to dance! In the last year I have taken Latin Social and Middle Eastern dance classes. I had so much fun..I Can finally salsa! Im the girl at the club that will dance like no one is watching :)

I seriously would not know what to do without YOUTUBE. It's better than watching tv. I can spend hours watching make-up tutorials/hauls.

I really like the Jersey Shore Soundtrack! I never thought I would say that ahah. I was bored yesterday and decided to give it a go. I looove it! It makes me want to shake it and fist pump ;p.

I couldn't leave food out :). I like to eat! I'm a fatty and proud of it!

Singing is a big part of my life. I was a choir nerd once and it makes me happy. Too bad my family doesn't think so...I annoy my twin sometimes :X

I love to blog! I stopped for a yr since no one was interested in live journal anymore. I remember my Melo! It was so high school ..how I miss it! I'm glad I made this one because I like the community here and how everyone encourages each other and make this blogging community fun.

My favorite Palette!

Kat Von D's True love palette!

It is true love! The colors that I am crazy about are the ones on the left side which are called Peanut, Benji, Rebeckah and Lucifer. If you like neutrals and purples you should check this palette out. I admit I was kinda disappointed at the cream shadow that it came with; Benji. It was very dry and hard to apply...I guess cause it's been in stock for a long time its not even creamy anymore but that doesn't stop me! hahaha It is such a pretty bronze color base that I can't let go to waste..I just have to fight a little with it. I LOOOOVE Rebekah its a shimmery brownish/goldish color..I don't think I have ever seen anything like it. This would be my go to palette.

I also own Metal Orchestra by Kat Von D....I haven't played with this palette too much. The blues are amazing though...the fall is coming up so I will try to use them.

Kat Von D has a new palette called Adora out at Sephora now. I LOVE the packaging but I am not sure if I am crazy about the 3 cream shadows since yet..I would have to see swatches!

Any of you ladies have any Kat Von D products? Do you love it? thoughts?
